Heterogeneity of Lipoprotein(a) Levels Among Hispanic or Latino Individuals Residing in the US

In this analysis of 16 117 participants from the Hispanic Community Health Study/Study of Latinos cohort, the median lipoprotein(a) level varied by self-identified Hispanic or Latino background, likely related to differences seen in genetic ancestry. Study results suggest that there is significant heterogeneity in lipoprotein(a) levels across the diverse US Hispanic or Latino population.
